We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Urology for a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are central to all we do.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a constant awareness of the patient's priority in all hospital operations.
* Ensure that nursing care is patient-centered, respecting patients' dignity and privacy.
* Provide clinical expertise, specialist advice, and support to women across the Nursing Services.
* Ensure that evidence-based nursing care is consistently provided.
* Refer to and comply with the scope of practice framework as stated by NMBI in relation to all components of the position: Clinical Role, Patient Advocate Role, Educational Role, Consultative Role, and Audit Role.
* Comply with all existing Hospital policies.
* The Clinical Nurse Manager/CNS will be professionally accountable to the Director of Nursing.
* Operationally report to and be accountable to the Assistant Director of Nursing.
Requirements
* Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI.
* Be registered in a different section of the Nurses and Midwives Register in extraordinary circumstances, evaluated on an individual basis.
* Possess a minimum of one year of full-time experience in the specialized field of care for which they are applying, or a total of one year of experience.
* If the applicant does not have the relevant Level 9 qualification, they will be supported to undertake the required postgraduate education as relevant to the specialist area.
* Possess the clinical, managerial, and administrative skills necessary to carry out the duties of the position effectively.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
