Our client in South Wicklow seeks a detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Coordinator to manage financial transactions, order processing, supplier accounts, and general administration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Sage, numerically strong, and capable of multitasking. This role is ideal for an experienced candidate who's seeking flexible working hours – full-time or part-time.
Compensation: €35,000 - €40,000. (Salary will be determined based on relevant experience.)
Key Responsibilities:
* Process orders, invoices, and payments in Sage; maintain accurate records.
* Record daily banking transactions, updating Sage and spreadsheets with all income.
* Prepare monthly financial reports for accountants, including aged debtors/creditors.
* Prepare payroll, maintain fixed asset records, and support stock takes.
* Update the Profit & Loss statement monthly after all transactions have been cleared.
* Oversee weekly and monthly journal entries for wages, salaries, depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
* Manage sales and purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing and documentation.
* Maintain supplier invoices, process payments, and manage procurement of office supplies.
* Perform reception duties, visitor management, and general admin support.
* Backup Sage data and ensure financial records are up to date.
Skills & Requirements:
* Experience in accounting/administration, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
* Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
* An Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent experience.
