Our client is a leading retailer in their sector, operating multiple locations across Ireland. With significant expansion underway, they seek a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their Head Office in Galway.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced Accounts Technicians or Part-Qualified Accountants to gain exposure across all areas of finance in a positive working culture with excellent benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
* Complete month-end reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and supplier statements
* Maintain the fixed asset register for all companies
* Prepare CSO and other statutory reporting requirements
* Assist with monthly management accounts preparation and month-end/quarter-end reporting
* Prepare VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns when due by Revenue
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
* Achieved qualification as an Accounting Technician/Part-Qualified Accountant (desirable)
* Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel
* A high-energy individual with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
* Efficient work methods, capable of working both as part of a team and on own initiative, and good interpersonal skills
