JRAP O'Meara Solicitors LLP are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their growing team as part of a dedicated new role in the Commercial Department.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in due diligence processes for transactions, including document collection, review, and organisation.
2. Management and organisation of corporate legal documentation, such as shareholder agreements, sale and purchase agreements and general corporate governance documentation.
3. Prepare filings for the Companies Registration Office (CRO), Táilte Eireann and other regulatory bodies as required.
4. Liaise with clients, third-party professionals, and regulatory bodies, maintaining effective communication.
5. Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Support the team in general administrative tasks, including managing client files, preparing reports, and attending client meetings.
7. Stay up to date with changes in corporate law and regulations.
Skills and qualifications:
1. Educated to degree or relevant diploma level or a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a legal or similar environment.
2. Knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, and business structures advantageous but not essential.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and familiarity with legal management software.
6. Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
