The Marie Keating Foundation is recruiting for a Fundraising Executive.
The Marie Keating Foundation is seeking an experienced and organised individual to join a small, collaborative and highly effective fundraising team.
The individual will play a key supporting role in helping to achieve ambitious fundraising targets and to ensure sustainability and growth during the next five years. This role represents a great opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to develop their skills and expertise as part of a growing team within a caring, kind, tightly knit charity.
Reporting to: Head of Individual Giving
Key Relationships: Head of Individual Giving, Director of Development; Fundraising & Events Co-ordinator, CRM Data Officer, all other fundraising; administration, communications and nursing services staff.
Contract: Permanent full-time contract (subject to successful completion of a 6-month probationary period).
Location: The Marie Keating Foundation, Workways, Office 26, Block 5, High Street, Dublin, D24 YK8N.
The Marie Keating Foundation currently operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
Brief overview and purpose of the role:
To provide support to the Marie Keating Foundation’s Fundraising team to help deliver the annual Fundraising plan. This role will be the first point of contact for all Donor and Community Fundraising queries (by phone, email, post) as well as providing support for community, events, campaigns and all general fundraising activities and queries. The role involves working closely with the Head of Individual Giving and the CRM Data Officer on fundraising campaigns and maintenance of the CRM database to ensure accuracy of supporter information and fundraising income.
Donor Engagement & Administration
* Be the first point of contact for supporter enquiries and proactively engage with supporters, understanding their interests and motivations to enhance their experiences with the Foundation.
* Contact existing supporters and prospects via telephone, post and email to improve engagement.
* Provide administrative support, including data entry and processing in the fundraising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in a timely manner.
* Be able to carry out donor record management including updating details, payment methods, and direct debit processing.
* Work closely with CRM Data Officer to report on results (response rates, average gift, ROI etc.) for fundraising activities and campaigns.
* Support the production of letters, supporter care materials and relevant communications in compliance with GDPR.
* Assist in the development and implementation of effective fundraising appeals, events, and campaigns.
* General support for all community and corporate event fundraising initiatives providing the first point of contact for incoming fundraising event enquiries and activities.
* Procure, distribute and manage stock of fundraising materials and merchandise to support community and event fundraising.
General Duties
* Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of all online shop orders, including the management of queries and administration and reporting of stocks.
* Supervise and manage the purchasing of additional items as required.
* Liaise with partners to ensure efficient collection and delivery of collection boxes from retail base.
* Undertake any other reasonable work-related duties and responsibilities that might be reasonably assigned from time to time as required.

* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Foundation as appropriate.
* Abide by all organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice.
* Strong understanding of GDPR legislation and impact on donor acquisition and stewardship.
* Act in the best interests of the Marie Keating Foundation at all times and in accordance with our mission and vision.
Person Specification:
* A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar fundraising or administration role. Office Administration FETAC Level 5 OR Diploma in Customer Services or equivalent.
* Experience working with fundraising databases; MS Dynamics (desirable), Raisers Edge, CARE, Salesforce etc.
* Enthusiastic, warm friendly manner.
* Excellent organisational and administration skills.
* Excellent donor/customer care and communication skills.
* Numerate & analytical.
* Knowledge of, or interest in, the health sector.
* Experience of working in the charity sector is desirable.
Holidays
* 23 Days Pro Rata (two to be kept for Christmas shutdown period)
* One day given by the Foundation for Good Friday
* Two days given by the Foundation for Christmas shutdown period (Separate to the two days you keep from your own annual leave)
Pension
* Access to a PRSA will be provided through a nominated PRSA provider on commencement of employment.
* The Company will match any pension contribution made by you to the PRSA up to a maximum of 5% of salary.
