Technical Service Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Service Manager to join our team in Ireland. Our service team is responsible for maintaining a range of medical equipment across the island, including HD Camera Systems, Diathermy units, Surgical Laser units, and more.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service team and ensuring that all equipment is maintained and functioning as per the manufacturer's specifications. This will involve coordinating test equipment calibration, working closely with suppliers, and supporting the sales team with technical assistance.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage a team of engineers and coordinators to ensure high levels of customer support and technical training.
* Maintain records and files in accordance with ISO/MDR/HPRA policies and manufacturers' guidelines.
* Source and interview potential new staff members to expand the technical service department.
* Plan and carry out new equipment commissioning and installations.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the medical device industry, preferably in a service management role.
* Electromechanical field service engineering experience essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
* A qualification in Electromechanical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
