Job Description:
We are partnering exclusively with a leading specialist MEP contractor to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple CapEx pharma projects across five sites in the Westmeath and Leinster region.
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Taking full ownership of selected projects from concept to completion-planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
* Liaising with engineering and design teams to ensure project goals are met.
* Tracking project progress using internal systems, ensuring team compliance.
* Leading cross-functional collaboration (BIM, Engineering, QA, Procurement).
* Conducting regular site visits and inspections, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and health & safety regulations.
* Deliivering weekly and monthly progress reports to clients and senior management.
* Partnering with senior leadership to mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
We're looking for a self-starter-a highly organised leader who thrives under pressure, anticipates challenges, and delivers excellence with integrity.
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
* 5+ years as a Project/Contracts Manager or an aspiring Mechanical Project Engineer.
* Strong exposure to Life Sciences or Data Centres or Semi-Conductor projects is desirable.
* Confident working with MEP contractors or main contractors.
* Sound knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and Process systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Skilled at juggling multiple projects under pressure.
* Full driving licence required.
Additional Details:
Projects: Mechanical-focused with some PSCS responsibilities (CSA/Electrical subcontractors involved). Team: You'll be joining a lean and capable delivery team (currently 2). Annual Project Value: €10-€15 million (across multiple smaller-scale projects). Location: Midlands-based preferred but support provided to those travelling further afield.
