Position Overview:
We are looking to appoint a PSDP/Safety Professional for our Dublin office, to work on a diverse range of projects across the country. The successful candidate will ensure the effective discharge of the consultancy's role as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and contribute to developing a proactive safety culture on all projects. Additionally, the role may involve working on projects where the consultancy has been appointed as health and safety coordinator by the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Discharge the role of PSDP on construction projects.
* Attend client, design, and site meetings.
* Prepare preliminary safety and health plans.
* Compile and prepare safety files.
* Prepare health and safety reports.
* Conduct site visits.
* Coordinate and liaise with all parties involved in a construction project.
* Review the competence of duty holders.
* Conduct inspections and prepare reports on legal cases concerning health and safety.
* Collaborate with contractors to discharge the role of PSCS on construction projects.
Requirements:
* Education: Degree in Construction or a related discipline.
o Architect
o Building Surveyor
o Civil & Structural Engineer
o Mechanical & Electrical Engineer
* Desirable Qualifications:
o Construction Safety and Health Training
o Chartered Member of Engineers Ireland, IOSH, or similar
o Occupational health and safety qualification and/or experience
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a relevant role.
