We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Offer Transformation to join our Musgrave Retail Partners Team.
Overview: Reporting to the Head of Value, this role is responsible for shaping and developing the consumer offer strategy as part of the overall Value Strategy for the SuperValu and Centra brands.
This senior commercial role will work cross functionally on the Perform agenda as well as being the lead Value Team representative on the key business offer transformation and Data projects.
Key Responsibilities: Support the strategic Perform and Transform agendas across the SuperValu & Centra brands to deliver a winning market position for both brands that drives profitable sales and increases consumer loyalty Oversee the development and execution of the Consumer offer Strategy, ensuring alignment with consumer sentiment, market trends and key stakeholders.
Integrate the consumer offer strategy within the broader commercial strategy.
Work with the two consumer offer Managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver commercial plans, period planning, Food and Value plan integration, Dublin Plan and brand value strategies.
Manage budgets for consumer promotions, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
Analyze data to assess and improve the effectiveness of consumer offers.
Engage with our retail partners and cross functional teams on key business value initiatives and represent Trading at key forums, including Performance Hub, Transformation Hub, Consumer Forum, VFM and Retailer Councils.
Governance of the Promotions Process (E2E), driving Continuous Improvements, process implementation and coordination across functions.
Provide updates on relevant legislation and retail industry changes.
Support Data projects including the development of Category Compass by creating a centralized Category Hub for Commercial Teams.
This includes managing sales, market insights, promotional performance, pricing analysis (gross & net index), and performance evaluation to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Ensuring team stability during a period of significant transformation driven by key business transformation projects Contribute to the Technology & Business Transformation initiative that supports Musgraves long-term strategy.
This position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive efficiency and innovation across key business areas.This role plays a critical part in shaping business value strategies and ensuring theirsuccessful implementation through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
The successful candidate will possess the following: Must have at least 10 years experience in a senior role in a retail / FMCG environment with a track record of developing and delivering a commercial strategy.
A strong leader that empowers the team to deliver magical results The ideal candidate will be highly numeric & analytical a qualification on this area would be an advantage.
Proven commercial acumen and experience of translating consumer insight into innovative and differentiating market leading shopper propositions.
A strong systems orientation including advanced Excel skills.
Strong interpersonal, people leadership & stakeholder management skills Ability to contribute to technology and business transformation initiatives in support of Musgraves long -term strategy The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, with a proven ability to influence at a senior level in the organization.
