Commercial Finance Manager Citywest, Dublin €80,000 - €90,000 Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting Support monthly financial close processes, including supplier statement reconciliations and balance sheet management.
Review Goods Received Notes (GRNs) at month-end and communicate necessary accruals and provisions to the finance team.
Manage and reconcile project-related costs and liabilities on a monthly basis, collaborating with commercial and accounts teams to reduce WIP and debtor days.
Assist in the preparation of project-related financial documentation, ensuring appropriate internal approvals are in place.
Project Budget Management Ensure project budgets are finalized in collaboration with commercial and finance teams and uploaded to the ERP system for project performance tracking.
Monitor project performance continuously, reporting and analyzing variances against approved budgets.
Collaborate with other departments on Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) against the original project budgets.
Regularly review project budgets with other departments to ensure CVRs and financial reports are aligned and project profitability is in line with expectations.
Commercial Support & Cost Control Support the preparation and approval of Payment Applications, ensuring timely invoicing upon approval.
Liaise with procurement and commercial teams to issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring delivery timelines are met.
Match supplier invoices to relevant purchase orders, following commercial team agreement.
Ensure that procured materials are allocated to the appropriate project budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
Sub-contractor Administration Oversee sub-contractor onboarding, ensuring all required documentation is complete before works commence.
Ensure sub-contracts are accurately registered on internal systems and recorded in the accounting platform.
Review sub-contracts monthly with the commercial team, tracking payment schedules, retention release dates, and settlements.
Coordinate with the commercial and accounts payable teams on sub-contractor cashflow forecasting and payments.
The ideal candidate: Education/Qualifications Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) Minimum 4 years PQE.
