Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives Providing leadership and direction to the finance team, including financial managers, analysts, and accountants Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and risk management Managing the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management Monitoring financial performance against budget, forecast, and key performance indicators (KPIs), analysing variances and trends Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements Coordinating and liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies Developing and maintaining effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting Assessing and managing financial risks, including currency exchange risk, interest rate risk, credit risk, and market risk Leading financial analysis and modelling initiatives to support strategic decision-making and business planning Evaluating and optimizing capital structure, financing options, and investment opportunities Providing financial insights and guidance to senior management and the board of directors Leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration efforts Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
