Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Weddings & Events Coordinator to join our team at Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort.
The hotel is a four-star property situated on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, with a rich history dating back to 833 A.D.
Main Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer inquiries in a client-oriented manner.
* Efficiently manage wedding and events requests.
* Accurately record all enquiries and bookings in HotSoft.
* Use best endeavors to secure confirmed business and maximize conference sales revenue.
* Prepare and update correspondence related to conference sales and confirmation.
* FOLLOW UP ON CONTRACTS, DEPOSITS, CUT-OFF DATES, AND ROOMING LISTS TO ENSURE PROPER FOLLOW-UP.
* E nsure all bookings are contracted.
* Assist in maintaining an effective mechanism for following up conference business enquiries and providing an after-sales service to secure repeat business.
About the Role
Requirements:
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Great customer service skills.
* Prior experience in conference and banqueting or events department is beneficial.
