Chief Commercial Officer - CCO
Our client, a new US start-up in Ireland, is a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics exclusively serving the life sciences industry. They are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to head up their new Irish operation.
The company provides unmatched supply chain solutions that help companies transport sensitive biopharmaceutical products with greater speed, security, and sustainability. This new hire will be key to this success.
The Role & Responsibilities:
* Lead the company's commercial strategies for Ireland, driving business growth, and building a high-performing commercial operations team.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
* Synchronize with the Business Development team to secure new business opportunities and establish long-term strategic client partnerships.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery.
* Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
* Create and manage organisational budgets and monitor KPIs to track performance.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success.
Requirements:
* 8-10+ years of experience in commercial/operations/site lead role within the logistics/supply chain sector.
* Experience in temperature-controlled or cold chain logistics would be a major advantage.
* Experience working in, or working with clients from, the life sciences or related sectors would be a major advantage.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the life sciences sector.
The Offer:
The salary package on offer will be negotiated at a senior leadership/executive level to reflect the significant complexities and responsibilities of this role. The role can be office based, hybrid, or primarily remote (within Ireland) to suit the incoming candidate. Candidates without full eligibility to live and work in Ireland on a permanent basis will not be considered.
