Job Title: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational/managerial skills, a proactive attitude, and strong communication and reporting abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Pre-contract cost control and advice to Design Teams and Clients
* Pre-contract document preparation
* Post-contract functions including interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, and final account reconciliations on various projects
* Training and development of junior Quantity Surveyors as part of the team structure
* Estimating & Cost Planning reporting directly to Clients
* Preparing Bills of Quantities
* Compiling Contract Documentation
* Preparing Cost Reports
* Preparing Monthly Valuations
* Agreement and Preparation of Final Accounts
* Review and Resolution of Contractual Claims
* Attending Meetings with Clients and Design Team Members
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
* At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a consultancy environment
* Ambition to achieve chartership
* Team player with strong computer skills
