Production Manager - North Dublin

Our client seeks a highly qualified and experienced Production Manager in County Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
Core Responsibilities:
* The creation, implementation, monitoring, and achievement of the Master Build Schedule.
* Oversee daily productivity, ensuring on-time delivery, and cost-effective delivery of the production schedule.
* Monitor, track, and improve daily, weekly, and quarterly production KPIs.
* Manage a team of Cell Leaders/Supervisors ensuring clear and concise directions are imparted and maintained.
* Ensure quality metrics are achieved and quality standards are clear, understood, and maintained.
* Actively manage projects to drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through the department.
* Lead the function and direct reports to ensure a highly effective workforce aligned to company goals.
* Manage development and training of the team to ensure employees are highly skilled and achieving their potential.
* Communicate effectively across the department and across functions.
* Ensure employees are informed, engaged, and clear on the company's strategy, goals, and objectives.
* Recruitment of Production Operators/Cell Leaders.
* Set the operational plan for the department and manage the effective delivery of this.
* Manage and control to ensure company goals are achieved.
* Interface with Design, Quality, Assembly & Testing, and Sales functions to ensure production lead times and quality standards are met.
* Implementation of best practice in Health & Safety compliance.
* Ensure all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in operating a successful Production Department where they have been responsible for the production planning, quality, personnel, costs, and all outputs from a modern cellular manufacturing facility.
* At least 3-5 years' hands-on experience in a complex ERP/MRP environment, from creating plans to managing capacities and outputs.
* Production management and performance evaluation.
* Appropriate PC skills consistent with such a position, including Microsoft Access, Excel, etc.
* Innovative/creative, flexible, able to multi-task, and have a 'hands-on' approach.
* HR practices, good judgment, and decision-making skills. Ability to deal with employees on a one-to-one basis.
* Ability to operate within a multi-disciplinary team of Managers responsible for Facilities, Purchasing, Materials, Finance, Engineering, and Design-related issues both on-site and overseas.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills with high attention to detail.
* Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
