Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and filing of VAT and RCT returns
">
2. Maintenance of compliance with relevant tax regulations
">
3. Management of sales invoicing, customer statements, and follow-up on overdue accounts
">
4. Processing of customer receipts
">
5. Management and resolution of customer queries
">
6. Maintenance and reconciliation of the Debtors ledger
">
7. Processing and filing of purchase and expense invoices
">
8. Support for the monthly payment run process
">
9. Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
">
10. Maintenance and reconciliation of the Creditors ledger against supplier statements
">
11. Processing of weekly bank transactions and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
">
12. Assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts
">
13. Assistance with the annual financial audit
">
14. Performance of other ad-hoc duties as required

Ideal Candidate:
">
- Accounting Technician qualification desirable but not essential
">
- Proven experience in a similar role within the SME sector
">
- Previous experience in the property/construction industry desirable
">
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
">
- Excellent attention to detail
