As a Patient Catering Assistant within our team here in Blackrock, you will be helping us to deliver food services to patients throughout the clinic. This is a very rewarding position for the right candidate, in not only delivering meals but also providing patient-centred care.
Whilst previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided and opportunities are also available for employees who would like to build a career with us.
Responsibilities
* Promote a patient-centred culture of care, openness and responsiveness.
* Working from the pantry serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tea to patients.
* Setup and serve patient food & beverage trays whilst maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and food safety and ensuring adherence to any specific dietary requirements.
* Distribute menus in line with any patient allergen & special dietary requirements.
* Ensure food safety records are accurately completed - ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to.
* Day to day cleaning of the pantry and setting up for the next day.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties.
Garda Vetting is required for this role.
