Job Title: Facility Manager
A global business providing integrated facility management services is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Facility Manager to join their team in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
Main Responsibilities:
* Continued operation of site facilities encompassing all elements of facilities management including buildings, plant equipment, hard services, soft services, etc.
* Management of routine preventative maintenance.
* Maintenance of operational procedures, preventive maintenance plans, business continuity plans, and emergency plans for buildings and utilities.
* Preparation of documents to issue requests for tenders and management of the tender process.
* Comparison of costs for required goods or services.
* Project management, coordination, and supervision of third-party contractors.
* Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
* Assistance to local site Facilities Coordinators in directing, coordinating, and planning essential central services such as reception, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
* Operation of a BMS system and related functions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in facilities management, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in FM software and MS Office.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and external vendors.
* Experience in facilities management or building services industry/consultancy.
* Expertise or familiarity with M&E, HVAC, and refrigerated equipment.
* Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
* Experience in project management and overseeing the work of external contractors.
* Experience in building environmental/energy efficiency.
* Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of MS Office and relevant facility management software.
