About the Business Development Representative - ActiveCampaign:
MarketStar is hiring a Business Development Representative to represent our newest client, ActiveCampaign, a world-class business marketing automation platform. If you are passionate about cutting edge and emerging technology and are ready to join a successful and fast-growing sales program at MarketStar, we have a great opportunity for you. Be a part of this excitingjourney at the forefront of the latest emerging technology, with the number one player in space. Your responsibility will be to create a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities that can contribute to the company's growth and success. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in building the brand, creating a great first impression and building momentum for ActiveCampaign to close new business.
Location:Leopardstown, Dublin 18 – Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
What Will You Do?
1. Create sales-qualified opportunities by engaging with prospects and showcasing how ActiveCampaign can transform their business.
2. Source opportunities on your own initiative, using the latest tech apps.
3. Qualify and handover sales ready opportunities to Account Executives.
4. Create lasting and beneficial relationships with ActiveCampaign stakeholders.
5. Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
6. Engage with prospective customers by phone, email & LinkedIn.
7. Achieve established sales goals and objectives.
8. Serve as a product and service advocate for the client, building interest and awareness of ActiveCampaign’s value proposition and assessing mutual fit.
9. Learn quickly and maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of ActiveCampaign's products and services.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
10. Fluent in both German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken forms in both languages
11. Strong desire for a career in sales.
12. 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales or business development role preferred.
13. High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot.
14. Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information.
15. Strong organization and time management coupled with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
17. Salesforce experience preferred but not required.
18. Ability to learn and be coached with a positive attitude and openness to receive constructive feedback.
19. High level of organization with a keen attention to detail.

The pay for this position is base salary per annum of €42,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €10,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
