Cpl Healthcare are currently seeking an experienced Oncology Liaison Nurse to join their team at a private clinic in South Dublin.
Job Description
The role is closely aligned with the organisation's Breast Care Programme, focusing on the assessment, counselling, surveillance, and support of patients with malignant, benign breast disease and a family risk of breast cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Registered Nurse/Midwife with current NMBI registration to practice.
* Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience, with at least 2 years working within acute services such as Oncology or Surgical services.
* Interest in Oncology services and evidence of ability to critically appraise research to maintain and improve patient care.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
* Ability to build good relationships with patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues through effective communication, active listening, and empathy.
* Organisational skills for co-ordination and provision of care needs of patients using initiative, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide clear, accurate reports on patient condition.
* Demonstrate teaching and presentation skills to enable active participation as a mentor for students and promote an effective learning environment.
