Job Summary
Our client is a leading social housing developer in Dublin, committed to providing high-quality, sustainable housing solutions for the community.
They are seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. You will play a key role in delivering social housing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Dublin residents by providing much-needed affordable housing.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of social housing projects, leading a team of contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
3. Oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and social value commitments.
4. Manage procurement processes, selecting and negotiating contracts with contractors and consultants.
5. Monitor project finances, including cost control, budget reporting, and approvals for payments.
6. Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring quality of work and adherence to project specifications.
7. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including residents, local authorities, funders, and internal teams.
9. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in construction methods and sustainability practices.
Qualifications:
10. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
11. Previous experince working in the residential or social housing sector.
12. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
13. Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and social value principles.
14. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
15. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
16. Proficient in construction software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
17. A valid Construction Safety Passport (CSCS) or equivalent qualification.
