Senior Occupational Therapist
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to individuals with intellectual disabilities across various settings, including residential, day services, and community-based programs.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
* Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior occupational therapists, ensuring the highest standards of care.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
* Support and advise families, caregivers, and staff on interventions that promote the well-being and development of individuals in the ID setting.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs within the organisation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an MDT.
* Full Driving Licence & access to own car.
