Health & Safety Coordinator Role Overview
About the Role
This is a contract Health & Safety Coordinator role with our client in the healthcare sector, based in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement with potential for permanency.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in implementing H&S standards for the facility.
* Manage day-to-day H&S administration.
* Liaise closely with relevant departments and services to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines for risk management.
* Support and develop delivery of key performance measure metrics.
* Provide support in developing on-going development/training programmes.
* Contribute to service planning and support implementation of plan objectives.
Requirements
* Level 8 Healthcare qualification or Academic Award in H&S, Medical Device Technology, Quality & Risk Management – essential.
* Experience working in a healthcare setting in Occupational H&S or advisory role/Quality & Safety – essential.
* Collaborative experience working with multiple stakeholders in leading health & safety projects/initiatives.
* Knowledge of H&S policies/procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office skills and computer literacy.
* Strong communication and people leadership skills.
