Role Summary
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities or psychosocial needs? As an Accommodation Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring they receive the highest level of support and care. You will oversee the operations of our accommodations across the metropolitan area, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met with tailored, compassionate services. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the homes, supervising and rostering a dedicated team of support workers, and contributing to impactful projects that drive our mission forward. Responsibilities And Duties
* Supervise and observe the delivery of services to clients, ensuring high-quality support at accommodations
* Manage the rostering and supervision of support worker staff within your region, ensuring optimal team performance
* Conduct client assessments, care planning, individualised support plans, positive behaviour support plans and other relevant evaluations and reviews
* Ensure all services are aligned with client funding and preferences, maintaining a cost-effective and person-centered approach.
This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont.
Skills, Attributes And Experience
Our ideal candidates will have previous experience in case management or support coordination within the Disability sector, along with a strong understanding of the NDIS framework and its terms of business. You will be skilled in building meaningful, lasting relationships with both clients and the staff you supervise. With excellent communication abilities, you'll be confident engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will also value feedback and work collaboratively within the broader coordination team to continuously improve your practices.
Key Requirements include:
* Possess or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Possess or be willing to obtain a WA Working with Children Check
* A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
