Department
For Irish and Cayman domiciled funds, SMT Trustees (Ireland) Limited and G.A.S. (Cayman) Ltd respectively provide a complete fiduciary oversight function for the funds and its service providers as required by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and the Cayman Island Monetary Authority (CIMA). This department acts independently of the administration department and in the best interests of the funds investors.
The Depositary/Trustee Services Team are primarily responsible for the safekeeping of the funds’ assets and the review of a number of funds serviced by the department in addition to the daily cash flow monitoring, daily cash reconciliation and “other asset” verification of a number of funds as required under the Alternative Investment Funds Management Directive (“AIFMD)” & UCITS V.
Role Overview
The main responsibility of the role is to perform the oversight review of a portfolio of Funds across multiple fund structures and asset types. In addition, the assistant may perform some cash flow monitoring as well as support and participate in ad hoc projects.
