The role holder will work directly with the Chief Sportsbook Product & Trading Officerand leadership team. The role holder will have responsibility, along with the leadership team and wider members of our Trading & Sportsbook leadership forums to shape Flutter’s Global Sportsbook & Trading strategy and how we operate cross-divisionally within Flutter.This hands-on role includes ensuring alignment to a clear vision and missions across Sportsbook & Trading, using data to validate our strategy and track our progress. The role will also be responsible for the effective coordination of our sportsbook & trading leadership forums as well as managing strategically important projects for the team including talent and innovation.This position requires an excellent communicator, who thinks critically and who can effectively engage a diverse and senior set of stakeholders across the Group.What you’ll do Co-define and support the implementation of the team’s strategic vision and missionsSupport the evolution of our Global Sportsbook & Trading Operating Model to ensure it remains fit for purpose and future-proofGuide the development of Sportsbook capabilities to foster a long-term competitive advantage aligned with Flutter's strategyDevelop actionable roadmaps for Global Sportsbook & Trading strategic initiatives. Ensure these strategic initiatives align with market opportunities and Flutter strategyEnsure the efficiency of the relevant trading and product leadership forums and clarity of output and actionsDevelop strong relationships with senior stakeholders within Flutter and across divisionsEnsure outstanding stakeholder management through regular and engaging strategic progress updatesConduct market analysis to identify key opportunities and threats including external contextShape end-to-end complex solutions through leading workshops, interviews, process descriptions and other methodologiesEnsure the strategy maintains an appropriate balance between pace and value creationAs a leadership team member, support the team to deliver against its commitment to systematic development of talent across the organisationProvide trusted, objective guidance and recommendations on critical Global Sportsbook & Trading decisions.Be able to:Work closely with key members of the Global Sportsbook & Trading Product team in a way that engages and drives actionBuild and own relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group to continually assess and understand opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the teamAttract, select and support the development of small but effective team. About youPrevious experience of developing and improving knowledge and expertise in a global business in a domain specialist areaProven track record to provide thought leadership and shape strategy at a cross-divisional or global levelStructured and critical thinking, with a clear ability to effectively shape senior stakeholders’ decision makingExcellent communication skills, culturally aware, with strong interpersonal skills.
