Job Title: Financial Controller

My client, a leading company in their market, is experiencing significant growth.
Based in Dublin, they are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to play a key role in their next phase of growth.

The Role:
* Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Management Accounts
* Ownership of all finance activities within the business, including cash flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset register, taxes etc.
* Continuous reviewing of finance processes, systems and procedures to drive improvements in outputs, productivity and quality of information produced.
* Managing, leading and developing the finance team
* Ensuring all statutory returns are submitted accurately within deadlines
* Managing annual audit and preparation of statutory audited accounts
* Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Managing relationships with professional advisors, including accountants, tax advisors and insurers etc.
* Working closely with the senior management team on all finance and non-finance projects as required
* Providing financial analysis and insights to the Board, as well as offering well-considered advice to assist decision-making
* Supporting the Board in strategic negotiations and execution of its strategic business objectives
* Preparation of quarterly board pack
* Active participation in strategic planning of the business

Requirements:
* A qualified accountant with (preferably) 4+ years post-qualification experience either within an indigenous Irish business or within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong leadership and people management experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
* Proactive and self-motivated in approach, with a demonstrable and real interest in joining a growing and successful business
* A track record in providing high-quality financial information and in using technology to produce insightful financial information to aid commercial decision-making
* Excellent technical, IT, and interpersonal skills
* Prior experience in IT systems improvement and/or implementation would be advantageous
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to Senior Management & Board meetings
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
