Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead large-scale transformation projects within the financial services sector. As part of a high-performing team, you will manage end-to-end programmes, leveraging your expertise in business, IT, and regulatory transformations.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage client relationships, delivering key strategic programmes across the financial services industry.
* Oversee the delivery of programmes, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
* Provide leadership to the PMO team, workstream leads, and project managers.
* Represent the programme at governance sessions and internal meetings.
* Monitor programme costs, forecasts, and resources, managing project risks and dependencies.
* Drive business transformation through collaboration with global teams and leveraging innovative solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
* Lead business development activities such as proposals and thought leadership.
* Mentor junior resources, supporting their development and performance management.
* Manage complex client relationships, delivering tailored insights for senior stakeholders.
* Ensure service quality and project outcomes align with client expectations.
Requirements
* 12+ years of senior-level experience in consulting, with a focus on large-scale transformation programmes in financial services.
* Strong background in business case development, financial governance, and project management.
* Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams across complex projects.
* Expertise in Project Management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially for C-suite stakeholders.
Desirable
* Experience in Digital Transformations, Agile Delivery, or Regulatory Change.
* Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master).
* Experience with project management tools such as Clarity.
