The Customer Value Manager, reporting to the Residential Markets Director, will play a pivotal role in driving customer growth, retention, and profitability across the residential markets in ROI and NI (Flogas Energy & Budget Energy). This role involves shaping products, propositions, and sales channel strategies. Collaborating closely with the Propositions Development Specialist, Senior Customer Insights Analyst, and Marketing Team, the Customer Value Manager will design and execute a range of targeted customer value initiatives, including renewal, stepdown, loyalty, cross-sell, and win-back campaigns, ensuring a seamless and rewarding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities (ROI & NI):
* Design, execute, and monitor a comprehensive customer renewal strategy, focusing on optimal product offerings, targeted customer segments, and effective communication channels.
* Collaborate with the Residential Markets Team to develop and launch customer-centric initiatives, including loyalty programs, to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
* Proactively analyse customer data and insights to identify opportunities for increasing customer lifetime value through targeted campaigns.
* Partner with the Senior Customer Insights Analyst to track campaign performance, providing actionable insights to refine and enhance campaign effectiveness.
* Work closely with the Marketing Team to execute below-the-line (BTL) campaigns, supplying necessary customer data and contributing to the development of tailored messaging.
* Coordinate with the Head of Sales to prioritise outbound campaign types, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.
* Continuously oversee the churn process, analysing trends and market dynamics to adjust strategies and tactics, mitigating customer attrition effectively.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded professional with a background in propositions, marketing, or segment management. They possess strong analytical skills and are confident in interpreting data to drive informed decisions. Proactive and inquisitive, they excel at delving into numbers to uncover insights and develop actionable strategies. With strong problem-solving skills and lateral thinking, they identify workable solutions to complex challenges. A skilled communicator and influencer, they effectively collaborate with commercial and analytical stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Experience in the Energy Market or other utility sectors is advantageous, but not essential.
