Description
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payrolls end to end, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports, preparing accounting transactions and documents, and preparing special reports for management. We are looking for someone with good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.) who is organized and has good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a broad range of clients ensuring strong collaboration, accuracy of information and compliance.
2. Processing employee information, tax data and other documentation.
3. Overseeing employee benefits, health insurance, pension, and other deductions.
4. Addressing and resolving client enquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits.
5. Staying informed of payroll regulations, tax laws and statutory requirements.
6. Ensuring all payroll activities align with legal standards and deadlines.
7. Maintaining meticulous records and a robust document control system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a full audit trail of input.
8. Coordination between your payroll portfolio and clients, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
9. Handling the payroll processing end to end in a timely and accurate manner.
10. Maintaining client records to ensure that employee changes are entered correctly, reviewing changes for authorisation and maintaining a proper document control system.
11. Keeping up to date with company policies and tax legislations that impact on Irish payroll.
12. Preparing month-end journals and reports where necessary.
Key Requirements
What we are looking for:
1. 1+ years payroll experience, preferably within practice, but will also consider industry.
2. Ideally studying towards or completed IPASS qualification.
3. Strong computer and numerical skills.
4. A passion for client-facing work and able to prioritise workloads effectively.
