Project Manager Job Description
The successful candidate will work as a Project Manager on Residential/Commercial Projects in Cork, providing leadership to the project team and ensuring high performance through all aspects of the project.
Duties include:
* Providing leadership to the project team to drive high performance through all aspects of the project.
* Ensuring all of the requirements of the role of PSCS are adhered to and that Health & Safety standards on site are of the highest possible standard.
* Developing and maintaining collaborative and professional relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities also include managing client expectations, tracking progress, monitoring Sub-Contractor performance, and liaising with the Quantity Surveyor to manage costs on the project.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining positive communication with the public and regulatory bodies regarding queries/complaints, championing high ISO standards, and ensuring site activities are co-ordinated in accordance with the company's systems and procedures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Residential/Commercial sector and a relevant Third level Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. They will also possess strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is circa €80k - €100k DOE, depending on experience.
