Overall Purpose of the Job
Basic preparation of food and beverages, simple cooking, transporting and serving of meals, general Kitchen and Restaurant duties.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Maintain a willingness to learn & take direction from Kitchen Brigade in order to improve own skills levels
2. Help in the supervision and control of all food and beverage items from the Kitchen, provide high quality food in all areas whilst adhering to principles of GP% and Costings.
3. Ensure that the service of all meals is to the standard laid down by the Company and meets the Client’s specification and Head Chefs Standards.
4. Control of raw materials and portions are to the Company’s standards as applicable.
5. Complete and maintain all legislative paper work as required by law including the Foodspace Food Safety Manual.
6. Maintain the Company standard of hygiene and safety and take any action as is necessary.
7. Attend to all customer complaints and compliments within the guidelines and timeframes as laid down by the contract and Head Chef.
8. Ensure that all deliveries are received and recorded as per company requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
9. Recognised Professional Culinary Qualification or previous experience in a comparative Kitchen environment.
10. Previous recent experience within a working kitchen.
11. Knowledge of Kitchen Health & Safety Procedures and all Legislative Requirements.
12. Stock Control.
13. High Quality Food Production.
14. Excellent communication skills.

Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
