Warehouse Supervisor
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Arboretum Kilquade.
The successful candidate will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of inventory, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive deliveries of dry goods stock and live plants from suppliers.
* Conduct thorough inspections to verify accurate quantities and meticulously record all essential information.
* Effectively manage and process all paperwork and delivery notes, adhering to company procedures.
* Oversee waste management, implementing monitoring and control measures.
* Ccoordinate the collection of recycling materials.
* Collaborate on customer deliveries with other branches in Leighlinbridge and Urban Green, ensuring precise stock selection and proper attachment of all necessary paperwork.
* Schedule and supervise routine maintenance activities for warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
Requirements:
* Excellent organizational abilities to oversee multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and ensure efficient operations.
* Proven track record in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and operational expertise.
* Eessential possession of a forklift license, indicating proficiency in forklift operations within a warehouse setting.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
