Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering SAP-driven financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), with a strong understanding of finance principles, business processes, and integration with other SAP modules.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP solutions, leading functional teams, and ensuring seamless project execution. You will work closely with clients, gathering requirements, developing process models, performing functionality testing, and supporting system go-live and post-implementation. Your ability to provide expert guidance, optimize financial processes, and mentor junior team members will be crucial to success.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Analyse business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information needs, business processes) through conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and being able to document an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes.
Provide estimates, impact analysis, feasibility assessments for SAP based solutions for customer requirements. Confidence and ability to make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. Designing SAP enabled solutions and functional specifications.
Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing.
Design and develop test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.Working closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team and supporting the preparation and execution of training of SAP usersPlan and carry out cut-over activities and go live supportLead functional teams.Lead workshops to understand business processes with the ability to articulate best/standard practice.Support for users after go-live of the system in hyper car environment.Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
