Purpose:
The Patient Engagement, Enrollment & Retention (PEER) group is tasked with the strategy and execution behind Lilly clinical trial participant enrollment and retention. This group consists of 3 capabilities, namely: Design, Delivery and Health Literacy Content.
This Health Literacy Content team is tasked with creating dynamic, patient-facing clinical trial communications in the realms of patient recruitment and retention.
Position:
The Graphics and Multi-Media Designer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of digital content including static images and video/animation content to be leveraged across multiple platforms and patient audiences. The designer will work closely with the Health Literacy Content team content creators as well as BU molecule teams to deliver on their dynamic content visions.
This fast-paced role will put a successful candidate on the cutting edge of modern technology and patient communications strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for CDDA Health Literacy Graphic and Multi-Media Content
2. Produce patient-facing clinical trial materials in an engaging, dynamic and health literacy optimized format.
3. Use graphic and multi-media programs to create accurate displays of engaging patient-focused information.
4. Incorporate changes recommended resulting from defined feedback loops into the graphics.
5. Leverage and create templates to layout visually appealing content.
6. Create and deliver recording, editing, and encoding audio files.
7. Create and edit a variety of digital content as defined by project owners.
8. Implement best practices from Lilly’s Health Literacy playbook.
9. Understand and implement visual design principles of health literacy.
Operational Excellence:
1. Work collaboratively with team members to understand content needs.
2. Coordinate with content creators on obtaining permissions for assets.
3. Establish and maintain templates to ensure alignment to internal standards.
4. Lead the development of storyboards.
5. Ensure documents are compliant with Lilly policies.
Client Management:
1. Manage timelines and capacity, coordinating with team members.
2. Educate teams around project status.
3. Anticipate, communicate and resolve project-related issues.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
* 3+ years experience in medical or health media/content development
* In-depth knowledge of software design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite
* Demonstrated experience building content with media authoring tools
