We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Ballymahon, Longford.
Reporting to the Site Manager, as the Warehouse Manager you will play a pivotal role in the business, overseeing all dispatch and warehouse operations with safety of employees and efficiency of the operation being a priority.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with planners and transport to ensure loading plans are executed.
* Ensure that the quality of product dispatch meets customer standards; raise any issues with the Technical Manager.
* Monitor stock levels and address any discrepancies with site planners.
* Manage team retraining, H&S standards, holiday cover, and Perfast.
* Implement and enforce all group H&S and HR policies and procedures.
* Liaise with site department heads to achieve high customer audits, 5S and daily site standards on a continuous basis.
* Govern and participate in site routines where required, e.g., Planning, pulse.
Dispatch
* Support key customer order systems to meet customer requirements.
* Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
* Responsible for all aspects of stock movement.
Stock Management
* Management of all off-site/maturing stocks.
* Responsible for all aspects of stock movement including receiving, storage, and issuing to customers (Manufacturing units).
* Various CI projects as assigned.
People Management
* Manage teams to maximize efficiency and meet required deadlines.
Requirements
* Experience working in logistics, warehouse management, or similar roles within a GMP/Production environment; FMCG environment would be an advantage.
* Must have people management experience with the ability to demonstrate effective leadership and people management techniques.
* Confident, decisive, and able to problem solve.
* Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
* Good planning & organizational skills.
