Client Accountant Reporting to the Unit Manager, the individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of structured finance transactions.
This role will include the ongoing management of the transactions and the preparation of relevant management accounts and annual statutory financial statements.
The candidate will have the necessary drive and experience to gain the respect and trust of clients and counterparties.
Responsibilities:
Willingness to adapt, a flexible approach and a desire to take on extra responsibility and workload; Establishing and maintaining the financial books and records for a portfolio of securitisation transactions and aircraft entities; Preparing audit files for submission to the auditors and dealing with any queries that may arise during the course of the audit; Preparing the statutory financial statements Completing VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns where necessary for client entities Ensuring all bank statements, invoices and other financial records are received from the relevant counterparty Liaising directly with the asset manager, trustee, account bank, auditors, lawyers and other service providers involved in the transactions Skills OR Experience Qualified accountant Financial services experience, ideally as a client accountant Experience in the preparation of management accounts, the related annual statutory financial statements and dealing with queries from the auditors Compensation: 60k-70k Depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package and hybrid working Skills: ACA ACCA
