Culinary Director Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team at this historic property.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
1. Supervising the kitchen staff and providing leadership and guidance
2. Managing the operations of all outlets, including organizing workflow and hiring new staff members as needed
3. Monitoring food costs and inventory levels to ensure the hotel meets profit goals
4. Managing the kitchen staff and conducting performance evaluations
5. Ensuring food preparation meets health codes and standards by conducting regular inspections of the kitchen facilities, storage areas, and equipment
6. Creating and implementing new menus
Key Requirements:
1. Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary trends
2. Excellent communication and people skills to teach and motivate kitchen staff
3. Prior experience overseeing multiple outlets in a 4- or 5-star environment
