Senior Operations Supervisor
Shift: Days (Mon - Fri) & Evenings (Mon - Thurs)
Location: Limerick

As a Senior Operations Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to inspire, lead, and mentor diverse teams across our Limerick site. We expect to win as a team by doing things the right way and challenging each other to strive for the very best.
What you will do:
1. Leads Operational Excellence and complex change initiatives across the business. Mentors and develops Supervisors. Deputizes for Operations Manager.
2. May have responsibility for Production area(s) and team(s).
3. Leads operations improvement projects and participates in site or campus operational initiatives.
4. Under limited supervision, plans, conducts, and supervises assignments.
5. Reviews progress and evaluates results.
6. Recommends changes in procedures and process improvements.
7. Accountable for maximization of resources available to deliver outstanding results on all key performance metrics across the Business unit.
8. Deputizes for Operations Manager and represents Business unit/value stream at site and operations forum.
9. May manage a number of production teams to meet customer requirements and deliver KPIs in Quality, Service, Cost, and People Development.
10. Participates in budget setting for the business unit.
11. Drives a proactive and compliant approach to environmental, health, and safety.
12. Champions 6s process, standards, and objectives through coaching, mentoring, and setting direction.
13. Mentors and coaches Graduate(s) and Operations Supervisors.
14. Inspires others by setting the standards, building trust and partnerships, collaborating, and encouraging diverse perspectives while always acting with integrity.
15. Creates a positive employee relations environment and facilitates high engagement across a number of production teams and with cross-functional teams.
16. Provides timely feedback and review and ensures all performance issues are dealt with in a constructive, fair, and prompt manner. Ensures that all employees are treated with fairness and respect.
What you will need:
1. Degree or master's in business, Production Management, Engineering, or similar discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
2. 7 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. 2 - 4 years minimum Supervisor experience.
4. Supervises Production team(s) or a number of indirect staff.
5. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a production environment to the completion of complex assignments.
6. Usually works with a minimum of supervision, conferring with leader on unusual matters.
7. Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross-functional team and across a large number of teams.
8. Excellent knowledge & computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
9. Business acumen with an ability to deliver process improvement objectives.
10. Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, and health and safety.
11. Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitating individual and team engagement and development.
12. Ability to coach, provide effective feedback, and manage performance.
13. Problem-solving methodology experience required with process knowledge desirable.
14. Can interpret and analyze information and translate into operational actions.
15. Excellent influencing and communication skills.
