We support customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, delivering tailored engineering services that drive long-term success. OverviewNeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Automation & Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding Power Generation & Energy Systems team.
Experience supporting Electrical and Mechanical control & protection systems would be a distinct advantage, some examples would include: Power/Energy Managements Systems, Standby Power Generation, Prime Power Generating Plants, HV & MV Substations or Fuel Forwarding/Distribution Systems.The role is offered as a full-time staff position, based at our Dublin Office, with an excellent Salary and Benefits package.

Responsibilities Troubleshooting issues with PLCs, HMIs/SCADAs, Protection Relays, VSDs, Network Switches, Engine Controllers, Synchronisers etc. Attending emergency callouts to critical customers. Assisting in the production of maintenance plans & procedures for systems supported by NeoDyne. Organising and executing routine maintenance checks of equipment at customer premises in line with agreed maintenance contracts. Reporting on issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing repairs & improvements in consultation with customers. Organising sub-contractors and specialists where relevant to carry out work at customer sites. Organising and participating in shutdown activities at Power Stations in conjunction with other NeoDyne engineering disciplines. Participating in commissioning activities for NeoDyne projects on occasion. QualificationsRequired Level 6 certificate in a relevant Engineering discipline, or National Craft Certificate with suitable experience. Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role. Experience programming/modifying PLCs using Siemens Step7 and/or TIA. Familiarity with Control Systems, Safety Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical Switchgear and Generators. A high level of computer proficiency is required.Desired Direct experience in operating or maintaining Power Generating Plants, Standby Power Systems or Electrical Infrastructure would be beneficial.
