Business Development Manager (ICT) Grade VII - Permanent Contract The ICT department supports a large, diverse modern Network.We have in excess of 1,000 users spread over multiple sites providing local services, both within the main hospital campus, and as part of our larger Wide Area Network.We manage enterprise sized data centres as well as an ever growing cloud based presence. We are seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Business Development Manager to drive digital transformation and innovation within our healthcare organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, technology, and healthcare, with a passion of leveraging digital solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to digital health solutions. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Academia, Technology vendors HSE, other healthcare providers and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with E-health Ireland in the delivering of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other national initiatives. Innovation Management: Foster a culture of innovation within the MUH. Development and implement a framework of governance and control. Support the development and rollout of innovative initiatives solutions that improve patient outcomes, enhance service delivery, and optimize hospital operations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to pilot and scale new technologies. Project Management: Lead and manage digital transformation projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans timelines and budgets. Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between ICT clinical and administrative departments to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with organisation needs. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to drive project success. Provide training and support to staff on new digital tools and solutions. Digital Transformation Strategy (Advisory Member): Act as a key member in the development and implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the MUH goals. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends and best practices in digital healthcare and assess their potential for implementation. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. Analyse data to assess the impact of digital transformation efforts on healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency. Prepare and present reports to senior management on project progress and performance metrics. Eligibility/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, healthcare management, or related field Proven experience in business development, digital transformation, and innovation, preferably in healthcare setting Strong understanding of healthcare ICT systems and digital health solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certified in Project Management with good knowledge of PM tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent Time-Management & communication skills.
