This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, experienced, motivated individual with a successful track record within the childcare sector to join our team.What we offer:Permanent Health InsuranceLife Insurance CoverAnnual leave allowance of up to 23 daysSupport for further education and continuous professional developmentResponsibilities and Duties:Develop, deliver, and manage the daily operations of the Centre to ensure a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children in line with all regulatory requirements.Possess in-depth knowledge of children's age and stage appropriate holistic needs and development.Raise standards in early learning and care, role modeling best practice to an outstanding level.Implement the company's REACH curriculum, linking early childcare education theory and practice in line with the National Curriculum Framework of Aistear and the National Quality Framework of Siolta.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, health and safety, and risk assessments as stipulated in the Childcare Regulations.Demonstrate effective people and business management skills with confidence in covering all business aspects of the role.Implement child protection policies in line with Children First requirements and guidelines.Lead the development and evaluation of programmes and activities conducive to culturally sensitive learning environments.Qualifications and Skills:Candidates must have the following:A minimum of FETAC / QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.A minimum of five years in the childcare field, with at least two years in a management role within the sector.A strong passion for the needs and development of the individual child.Full clean EU driver's licence and access to a vehicle.Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:Ability to liaise with parents, guardians, and families to build parental partnerships.Ability to line manage and supervise a team, supporting their continuous personal development.Communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner at all times.Manage and project occupancy levels.Meet targets and deadlines while managing finances within an allocated budget.Full understanding of all guidelines as set out by TUSLA.
