Overall Purpose of Position:
The HR Manager will lead and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives to support a hybrid and remote workforce in a fast-paced contact centre and business operations environment. Acting as a strategic partner to leadership, they will ensure compliance with Irish and EU employment law, drive employee engagement, performance, and retention, and foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with company values. They will also be responsible for employee relations and HR process improvements, ensuring the HR function supports both business objectives and employee well-being.
This role will have the future scope to support HR operations across additional European locations, ensuring consistency in HR practices, compliance, and cultural alignment across multiple markets.
Main Duties:
Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership
Balance day-to-day operational HR tasks with long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, objectives, and evolving workforce needs.
Proactively identify and implement HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance, and retention, particularly within a remote and hybrid workforce.
HR Process & System Optimization
Continuously evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to HR processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
Leverage HR technology and data analytics to support decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
Employee Relations, Compliance & Policy Development
Ensure HR policies and procedures align with best practices and comply with Irish and EU employment legislation, particularly regarding remote and hybrid working.
Provide expert guidance to managers on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build strong, trusted relationships with leadership, management, and employees to support a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Act as a strategic HR partner, offering insights and recommendations to influence business decisions that impact employees.
Culture, Engagement & Communication
Drive initiatives to foster and sustain company culture and values, ensuring alignment across in-office, remote, and hybrid teams.
Lead and enhance the internal communication strategy, ensuring employees remain engaged, informed, and connected.
Performance & Data-Driven HR Management
Develop and report on key HR KPIs, using insights to drive continuous improvement in HR strategies.
Monitor employee engagement and satisfaction, implementing initiatives to enhance workplace morale and retention.
HR Budget & Resource Management
Manage the HR budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support HR initiatives and business needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Represent HR in cross-functional projects, contributing to company-wide initiatives that impact employee experience and operational success.
Ad Hoc HR Responsibilities
Support additional HR and business needs as required to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Business, HR, or Humanities (or equivalent experience). CIPD qualified. Minimum 5 years' HR experience, including operational HR, employee relations, and HR project delivery. Experience managing a team and working at an executive level.
HR Strategy & Compliance: Strong understanding of Irish and EU employment law, HR best practices, workforce planning, and policy development. Proven ability to support hybrid and remote teams, ensuring compliance and engagement.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Ability to build strong relationships and drive cultural alignment across all levels.
Communication & Problem-Solving: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, strategic HR guidance. Strong analytical mindset with experience using HR data and KPIs to inform decisions.
Organisational & Time Management: Highly detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability & Innovation: Proactive and solution-focused, with a track record of implementing modern HR strategies, digital tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
