We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef De Partie (CDP) to join the culinary team at a luxurious property in Co. Kerry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to work in a dynamic, high-end hospitality environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences.
As Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen and working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own section in the kitchen, ensuring high-quality preparation and presentation.
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the required standards.
* Follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage of food ingredients.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive team environment.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role.
* Excellent culinary skills and a passion for high-end cuisine.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* A culinary qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
