We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for our client, a food services industry leader.
We are looking for manager with a pro-active approach to all aspects of the HR department, with a working knowledge of employment law and the hospitality industry.
Title: Human Resource Manager Location: Limerick Salary: €50-55k Key responsibilities: Manage day-to-day HR services in an effective and efficient manner.
To assist in all activities concerning the sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline and HR administration.
Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive business performance.
Provide coaching and expertise on a range of complex, people-sensitive related issues.
Lead workforce planning for the business by carrying out detailed gap analysis and executing effective plans to meet the current and future needs of the business including recruitment and retention.
Develop succession plans, working with site management to identify hi-pos to ensure a strong leadership pipeline with leaders who have the knowledge and skills.
Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation, incentive, bonus and benefits.
Assists in the administration of the company social and staff benefit programs Eg: Employee of the Month, Leader of the Month, and other staff incentives.
Assist with planning,coordinatingand executing employee activities and events, including monthly staff meeting, wellness fair, community projects etc.
Oversee the effective management and resolution of all employee relations issues, in accordance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
Provide accurate HR advice and support to management and staff in relation to all aspects of the employment relations.
Ideal Candidate: A degree/masters in HR or related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years in a senior role as a HR Manager.
An excellent practical knowledge of Irish employment legislation, policies, procedures in line with recommended codes of practice.
A passion for helping people by coaching, mentoring, supporting the business units and management teams.
Organised, innovative and results driven with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Experience in the Irish hospitality industry an advantage.
