Description
Cork University Hospital (CUH) is the largest single multi-speciality hospital in Ireland and the only Level 1 Trauma Hospital in the country. The Physiotherapy Department provides care within CUH, St. Finbarr’s Hospital Rehabilitation Unit, and Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH).
The service offers weekend and on-call respiratory and orthopaedic services under specific criteria, and the postholder will be required to participate in this. Flexibility is essential as the post holder may need to give classes or cover clinics in the evening and at weekends.
CUMH opened in 2007, amalgamating maternity services from Erinville Hospital, St. Finbarr’s Maternity Hospital, Bon Secours Maternity Unit, and gynaecology services from CUH. The physiotherapy service provides an in- and outpatient service to the specialties of obstetrics, gynaecology, and neonatology in CUMH, as well as colorectal and urology in CUH.
This post primarily supports the provision of service to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
HSE South is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
