Job Title: Health & Safety Officer
Job Summary:
Our client, a leading environmental and industrial cleaning services company in Ireland, is seeking a qualified Health & Safety Officer to join their team. This role involves establishing safety standards, creating method statements and risk assessments, and ensuring employees adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Create accurate and timely method statements and risk assessments, and ensure all employees understand and follow these documents.
- Assist the Health and Safety Manager in advising the leadership team on safety matters and inspiring positive behavioral changes throughout the company.
- Collect and report data on safety and accident events, and coordinate with the Health and Safety Manager on group-level health and safety reports.
- Develop and manage internal safety initiatives to build on the company's existing positive safety culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety.
- At least 3 years of relevant Health & Safety experience.
- Full clean driver's license.
