Morgan McKinley are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Leader to manage complex projects from inception to completion at one of our client's Limerick site.
This 12-month hourly rate onsite contract requires a strategic leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, ensure project alignment with business objectives, and deliver results on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight & Execution
* Lead the development and execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
* Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
* Team Leadership & Coordination
* Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
* Motivate and guide team members to achieve project milestones and goals.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
* Stakeholder Communication & Engagement
* Act as the main liaison between project teams and stakeholders.
* Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project deliverables.
* Risk & Issue Management
* Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and address project risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project success.
* Quality & Process Improvement
* Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and incorporate best practices into project management processes.
* Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare and present project reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
* 7-10 years of experience in project management with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
* DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PROCESS EQUIPMENT IS PREFERRED.
* Familiarity with GMP and GDP standards is desirable.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
* PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMP) CERTIFICATION OR EQUIVALENT IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
