We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our client's Purchasing team based in Limerick. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role will collaborate closely with Finance, off-site Account Managers, and inventory Planners.
This pivotal role provides accurate and timely data analysis to support various teams, including Business, Sales, Procurement, and Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis: Conducting thorough data analysis and research to provide valuable insights from various raw data sources.
* Performance Evaluation: Evaluating website or intranet performance and designing processes for measurement, tracking, reporting, and analyzing traffic and user experience.
* Critical Indicator Extraction: Identifying and extracting critical indicators from complex data sets and interpreting them within a business context.
* Client Understanding: Understanding clients' information needs, business objectives, and market sectors to devise appropriate data analysis strategies.
* Reporting: Generating intuitive reports to enhance client relationships and solidify our client's position as a strategic partner.
* Team Management: Line management of other analytics staff to ensure efficient operations.
* Adherence to Standards: Ensuring adherence to individual procedures and processes, including compliance with ISO standards.
Key Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in Finance or Purchasing-related subject is essential.
* Several years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
* Experience with people management and a strong teamwork background is very advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to a very high standard is essential.
* Proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
* Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
* Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
* Ability to work with detailed information in a structured fashion.
* Understanding of Health & Safety issues.
