About the Role
We are hiring both Staff Grade and Senior Speech and Language Therapists to join the exceptional team at our client who is a renowned provider of specialist mental health and neuropsychiatric services in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a progressive environment, delivering patient-centered care to individuals with complex mental health and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication and swallowing disorders.
2. Design and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance patients’ quality of life.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.
4. Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers to support continued progress.
5. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
6. Mentor and supervise junior team members (Senior SLT role).
Requirements
1. Recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
2. Registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience for both roles, with expertise in mental health or neuropsychiatric services preferred.
4. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
5. Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting.
